The following are high level requirements for the role:

  • Documented experience in successfully working on  IT projects (full project lifecycle)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in working on IT applications projects as a Business Analyst
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and deliver the following artifacts: functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and user interface designs
  • Participate in reviews to ensure that designs accurately reflect requirements
  • Serve as business and functional requirements resource for developers and QA personnel
  • Participate in business process reengineering efforts to prepare workflow analysis and automate manual tasks
  • Assist in creating functional, nonfunctional, technical, and user interface requirement documentation
  • Stay abreast of business owner’s requirements to ensure timely and useful project deliverables
  • Assist business requirements teams to streamline product design processes, reduce delivery time, increase project throughput, and reduce product delivery costs
  • Work independently with users to define concepts with direction
  • Ability to support prototyping activities to gather business requirements and solution definition

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience performing similar roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in information system, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in property & casualty insurance preferred
