Our client has been in business for over 50 years and they have established themselves as a leader in their industry.  Based in Ypsilanti, MI, the company started in 1960 with one location and now does business in 82 countries worldwide.  Accompanying that growth has been their rise as a true technology leader, a brand that is consistently one of the top five companies in online transactions.  As a result of their continued growth and success, they have an opening on their InfoSec team for an IT Security Administrator.  The InfoSec team recognizes the importance of Identity and Access Management (IAM), and is seeking a security administrator to further the maturity of the program.  This position is responsible for performing operational tasks needed to support existing and new IAM initiatives.  These tasks will involve troubleshooting technical issues with their IAM systems, as well as working with internal and external customers to understand their IAM needs.

The following are high level requirements for this role:

  • 2 years experience with user directory technologies (LDAP, Active Directory)
  • 2 years experience with scripting (Powershell and Java preferred)
  • 2 years experience with Identity & Access Management concepts


  • Maintain and troubleshoot the IAM systems responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding company team members
  • Assist in new IAM initiatives
  • Create new federation relationships between department and service providers
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing federation relationships
  • Work with other internal departments to ensure applied access meets department’s requirements
  • Advises business managers and customers of security requirements, configurations and limitations
  • Work closely with Information Security Compliance to ensure corporate IAM initiatives comply with applicable compliance standards (SOX, PCI, etc.)


  • 2-3 years of IT experience in a moderate size company environment
  • Working knowledge of  IT security environment
  • Knowledge of  federation concepts
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to cooperate with other business functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related field; or equivalent work experience
