Our client is a leading financial services company seeking an IT Process Tools Analyst for its operations in Lansing MI.  Our client is seeking candidates who specifically have experience with the backend of Workfront (Project Management software tool). The IT Process Tools Analyst I analyzes, configures, unit tests and promotes templates, forms, and tables in the test and production environments for the IT process tools software applications.  Provides enterprise wide support for IT, Quality Assurance, and Business Users.  This position is also responsible for reporting, tracking, communicating and managing all bug fixes, system enhancements for the process tools as well as coordinating maintenance and major release deployments to the production environment including post implementation support.


•               Works with IT, Quality Assurance, and Business Users to define functional requirements, design specifications and testing scenarios.

•               Assists with analyzing, installing, and configuring IT process tool software applications.

•               Assists with running tests and updating templates, forms, files, and tables for IT process tools in multiple environments.

•               Develops requirements, technical designs and test plans.

•               Identifies and resolves system inquiries.

•               Provides support for IT, Quality Assurance, and Business Users for process tools software applications.

•               Participates in 3rd Party Vendor status meetings and forums.

•               Assists with post implementation support for maintenance and enhancement releases.

•               Creates and maintains documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs); process oriented and configuration based.

•               Applies the standard development methodology process to all projects.

•               Identifies and maintains a lessons learned process to drive continual improvement.

•               Contributes to and maintains system standards.

•               Creates, changes, and deletes user accounts per request.

•               Performs or requests periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.

•               Executes and modifies existing SQL statements for debugging or reporting purposes.


•               Performs other special projects or duties as assigned.

•               Ability to work extended hours as necessary, may sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.

•               SQL knowledge or the ability to learn.

•               Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or education.

•               1-3 years of business related experience required.

•               Financial services and customer service experience preferred.

•               Project Management Applications and/or Application Lifecycle Management tools experience preferred.
